Open What is Within You
Wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, power to do miracles, prophecy, discerning of the spirits, speaking in tongues, and interpretation of tongues, all gifts of the Spirit. Often times we get confused on the question: How can we get the gifts? Never realizing that they are already instilled inside of us just waiting for us to active them. Then, we wonder if they're inside of us, how we can release them. The simple answer is to burn with a passion for the Holy Spirit. We have to go deeper, never being satisfied with the season we are in, but instead, wanting and hungering for all the Lord has to offer. In Matthew 16:19, Jesus said, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven.” Think about this for a second. God even gave us the keys to unlock the greater heavens, here, right now, on earth. A small key opens a bigger realm to what God wants to do in us. The kingdom is already inside of s just waiting for us to unlock it, with the keys that our heavenly father has already given us. What will keep you from opening the door, and unwrap the future that God has? God has anointed us. We are all capable of walking in his Holy Spirit, and without even realizing it(,) we have the ability to be completely led by Him. We are all given the river of life, all instilled with the same gifts. Just some aren’t as actively walking in them as others. How do we put the gifts of the Holy Spirit into action? By surrounding ourselves with kingdom things, and filling our cup with more of God and less of us. When God throws nuggets, we should be grabbing it with everything we have inside of us so we don’t lose anything he has. The Lord allowed his angel to wrestle all night with Jacob. When the angel finally had enough and said, "Let me go," Jacob said back to the angel, "Not until you bless me." What if we did that to God? What if we didn't didn't let go and didn’t stop pressing in, until he blessed us. Spiritual gifts are activated inside of those who choose to be a vessel for God, and hunger for his presence more than anything else. Question is, are you allowing God to use you as his vessel? Most Christians are doing circles: church on Sunday, get a little word, eat, relax, and repeat, never doing anything for the Lord. We are supposed to carry the Glory all week only coming to church on Sundays and Wednesdays to get more to give more. If you are truly wanting to enter all the glory of the kingdom, keep pressing in and don’t take no for an answer. The kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violence takes it by force. How much do you want? How deep are you willing to dig? Press in like never before, wanting to see the things you have read about.
